A short sample of footage not yet used for any specifc project. Begins with demonstrations in Thailand for and against now deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, followed by images from Burma, at a Karen rebel army camp and throughout Shan State.

Nagalim: Pilgrims for Peace

(2005, English, 4:41 min. sample)

A comprehensive history of the Naga peoples' conflict with foreign overlords since the time of British colonial rule. Finding visuals to illustrate this story was a major challenge left largely up to the editor and the most was made of recent interviews, still images, stock footage and current video fo cultural performances and the ongoing peace process with the Indian government.

No Childhood At All

An update and re-edit of an advocacy video for the implementation of the U.N. Convention on the Rights of The Child to ban the use of child soldiers, by both the government and ethnic rebel armies in Burma.

An annual review of student's research projects done over a six week period in Northern Thailand. Commissioned by the National University of Singapore.

Comrades in Arms

A history of the Thai communist party's insurgency and its subsequent collapse, with special focus on the influx of student's who fuelled the movement after the military government's multiple crackdowns in the 1970's. The video uses archive footage, current interviews from past participants and dramatic re-enactments.

Cows, Moo Moo

A comical look at the migration of cows for consumption in Burma and Thailand as told through the eyes of the cows themselves.

Short-listed for the 'R.D. Pestonji Award' for 'best Thai short film' and the 'Duke Award' for 'best Thai documentary' at the 10 Annual Thai Short Film & Video Festival.

A Day In The Life / ๑ วันของชีวิต

(2006, Thai, English subtitles, 20:30 min. full length version)

The video follows the daily actions of a trash collector from Chiang Mai, Thailand, in an effort to display images of work that is often unseen and to provide forum for a voice rarely heard. The intention of the film was to attempt to dispel myth and stereotypes about the poor while providing an intelligent and self-represented voice in their stead.

ภาพยนตร์สารคดีเรื่องนี้ ได้เฝ้าศึกษา และพยายามติดตามการดำเนินชีวิตในแต่ละวันของ ชายชราที่มีอาชีพเก็บขยะ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งคือ ความพยายามที่จะสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงภาพของการทำงานอิสระอย่างหนึ่ง ที่ไม่ค่อยพบเห็นกันมากนัก ทั้งนี้ยังเป็นความพยายามที่จะสื่อสารเนื้อหาไปยังนักเรียน นักศึกษา นักวิชาการ และคนทำงานด้านการพัฒนาทั้งหลาย ตลอดจนเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐ ที่สนใจปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความยากจน เพราะในผลงานชิ้นนี้ได้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงนิยามใหม่ ของคนยากจนที่ไม่ใช่เป็นคนโง่เขลาเบาปัญญา หรือเกียจคร้านเพียงเท่านั้น แต่ในขณะที่คนฉลาด และขยันก็สามารถเป็นเหยื่อของความยากจนได้เช่นกัน
